Every time I see the Oregon coast it's like homecoming. Everything is exactly the same as it was when I was a kid but somehow it seeks to impress me in new and different ways. You can never go wrong with flying kites and staring at the waves for hours. Never. I think the images of Cara flying a kite might be some of my favorite pictures I've ever taken. They're simple but telling of how therapeutically awesome time and space is on the Oregon coast.
This place is something I'm deeply thankful for and below is my attempt to share it with you.

If you don't know Kaleb and Marilyn then you're missing out! I love these two! Kaleb grew up with my wife and was a bridesman in our wedding. Cara and I selfishly consider Kaleb and Marilyn to be some of our favorite people. Both are are local artists and do some incredible work. Kaleb also happens to have some mad skateboarding skills. I reek with jealousy when it comes to that. Seriously. I'm stoked for their wedding this summer at Tres Suenos!
