This blog post is a long time coming! Aaron Snow and I moved into this studio space in May of 2009 right before the heat of the wedding season began. Our studio is located at the bottom of one of the Brownstones at Maywood Park, just north of Bricktown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We both run our individual businesses in this shared space that we call Brownstone Studios

This has been one of the coolest experiences of my life. Cara and I started Carl Zoch Photography in 2008 and have enjoyed the ride ever since. The people we've met, places we've been and the stories we've become a part of have become invaluable to us. We're super thankful for how everything has played out so far and we're absolutely humbled, excited and stoked for the future! There are so many people to thank for believing in us. These people include but aren't limited to our family, friends and clients. All of you have played a significant role in shaping Carl Zoch Photography. You know who you are! Seriously, thank you!

We have another year packed full of awesome ahead of us! We'll be documenting many people's stories, both locally and nationally and we CAN'T WAIT!

Enjoy life.

Aaron Snow has become a good friend of mine over the last few years. He's an awesome local photographer here in Oklahoma City and happens to be the guy I share studio space with. Since I really enjoy photographing other photographers, I naturally enjoyed this shoot a lot. Aaron started the session off right when jumping off of a three story building. If you're a photographer and struggle with how to set up your subjects, just have them jump off of something very high. It's failsafe.

Click here to check out Aaron's family session from last year. It's one of our favorites around here!

If you're a local artist and would like to set up a session let me know! We have a limited amount of availability before our wedding season picks up. Hope you're enjoying today!

Enjoy life.aaron-0001blog.jpg

Im kinda upset that you didn't post the photos of me in boxers and business socks. I worked out for like 2 weeks to make that shot happen. P.S. I've still got a limp from that nasty fall.

If you frequent my blog then you've seen Scott and Staci every now and then. Staci is the owner of S Studio. It's a salon and day spa in North Oklahoma City. We spent an afternoon taking headshots of everyone that works there and managed to get away with having an awesome shoot despite the crazy wind. I wanted to share a few shots from the session. The first is my favorite. We used a couch from their studio during the shoot and it gave us some pretty stellar colors to work with. It also helped us dodge the violent wind. The second shot is of everyone that makes up S Studio; they were a pretty fun group of girls! Do yourself a favor and check out what they're all about here
