I'm officially wiped! I've been on the road since last Tuesday the 23rd. The trip started off in Michigan where I shot two sessions at sunrise, an engagement session in the evening and a wedding on Friday. I quickly packed my bags after that and caught a flight to Portland, OR in time to shoot a wedding (yesterday) at a country club in Happy Valley. All of the shoots and weddings so far were absolutely amazing! I can't wait to throw some of the images up on the blog soon! Today I'm in Seattle to have lunch with my dad and to meet up with Chris and Sarah Rhoads for a bit. I'll then head on back to Portland to enjoy some of the outdoors tomorrow and then fly back to OKC on Wednesday.

In the meantime I thought I'd share some images that I've taken during this trip so far. All of the images below were taken with my iPhone using the app ShakeItPhoto. It's a pretty sweet app! It's basically a polaroid camera for your iPhone. I like it because you can't tweak any of the images or crop them. It simply takes the photo and what you see is what you get. There's something awesome about that sort of simplicity. The majority of these were taken between layovers and while on the road.

Enjoy life!

I just got back from a road trip from MN to the east coast and back a couple hours ago. I think that the shots I took with my BlackBerry are some of my favorites, and there's something intriguing about using such a simple camera to capture fleeting moments.

Hope your trip was wonderful and you're not completely exhausted! I'm off to shoot an engagement session and am running on pure adrenaline and ridiculousness!

those are fantastic! I had looked at that app but it said it wasn't fully compatible with 3.0 so I skipped over it but after I saw your post, I went back and added it and it works great! i'm amazed at how well it translates the crop! thank for the tip...
